Brouwerij West The Dog Ate My Homework – Blackberry

Blackberry can be way too mouth-puckeringly tart, but the folks from Brouwerij West in San Pedro give this beer a refreshing berry bite.

Craftsman Brewing Cabernale – Grapes

Mark Jilg was one of the first (if not the first) brewmaster to see the potential of combining and not fighting against wine.  This lovely occasional beer from Pasadena is a true treat.

Knee Deep Brewing in Surf – Pineapple

Wheat beer is a great delivery vehicle for fruit beers. Not too heavy but still adding something.  Knee Deep has gone with the Surf and Pineapple theme for their ode to fruit beer.

Pacific Plate Brewing Mango IPA – Mangoes

Yes, the Monrovia brewers have a few IPA’s up their three sleeves, but if you want a really tropical IPA, then you have to try the Mango IPA that really amps up that island fruit flavor.

The Bruery Autumn Maple – Yams

Pumpkin style beers have gone from popular to scorned to being popular again and one reason for the resurgence is The Bruery and their massively yam-filled autumn beer with a Belgian twist.

Thanks for including the 21st Amendment Watermelon beer. I first had it about 10 years ago and fell in love. Only had it one other time (live in Michigan) but still dream about that perfect balance of fruit and beer.
