BLVD 16 executive chef Simon Dolinky is hosting a poolside BBQ every Saturday from 2 PM – 5 PM at the Hotel Palomar in Westwood. The all-you-can-buffet features seasonal offerings like Wagyu beef ribs, American Kobe-Style beef ribs with black peppercorn gastrique; grilled vegetable and pasta salad; and pineapple and shrimp kabobs. Dolinky is using locally-sourced and organic ingredients, plus produce grown in his hydroponic garden on the hotel’s rooftop. The “Market-to-Grill” BBQ will continue through the fall, weather permitting. The cost is $10 for hotel guests and $15 for everybody else.
