Food Drink Guide

These dishes represent my most memorable food and drink experiences from the past year.

2009 was a monumental eating and drinking year that included trips to Atlanta, Baja, California’s Central Coast, Las Vegas, New York City, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego and San Francisco, plus daily forays to restaurants and bars in Southern California. Le yikes! Can’t link to The Hump anymore, huh? Awesome list, fwiw.

Starkweather, I’ll still link to The Hump, but it’s hard to figure what they were thinking, serving contraband whale. That wasn’t on the menu during my visit. The most exotic dish involved live eel.
