Mike Fata and brother Chuck, who own Charlie’s Trio, plan to open 38˚ across Main Street this fall, in the former Alhambra home of California Brewing Co. The new venture is named for the perfect temperature to serve beer. According to the City of Alhambra website, the Fata brothers plan to offer at least 50 beers on tap. The food will consist of salads, soups, pastas, burgers, sandwiches and seafood.

holy cow, a yardhouse-type place that might not be horrific. sounds like a winner.

-shrugs- The beer-focused California Brewing Co. didn’t do particularly well even in that downtown location. Will be keeping an eye on this.
