The Kazarian Brothers are building a fourth branch of Alondra Hot Wings in Alhambra, across Main Street from the soon-to-be-replaced home of Triumphal Palace.
MySpace has plenty of info about the brothers’ burgeoning chain. Gary, Danny and Harout “Joey” Kazarian opened their first hot wing emporium in Paramount (the city, not the studio) in 2002. Now they have additional branches in Montebello and Long Beach. Expect 16 different varieties of hot wings, including one with “atomic hot sauce” that requires a waiver. Alondra Hot Wings also makes 18 different New York-style pizzas, Philly cheese steak and Boston pastrami sandwiches (Boston pastrami?). The space features an “American mobsters theme.” If your stomach survives the atomic wing, the Kazarkians offer deep-fried Twinkies for dessert.
