Every Tuesday starting April 28, Dakota restaurant is hosting BLT Night at the Roosevelt. Executive Chef Jason Johnston has assembled a menu featuring six dishes involving bacon, lettuce and tomato, ranging from $11-16. The Classic BLT ($11) incorporates applewood smoked bacon, iceberg lettuce and beefsteak tomato. Other options include a BLT Salad, Bacon Burger, Lardon Pizza, Pasta Carbonara and BLT Sliders. You’re also welcome to Build Your Own BLT. Johnston sourced some serious bcon, including J. Samuel Whiting from Pennsylvania, Ozark Hills Pepper from Arkansas, Tripp Country from Kentucky, Benton’s Smoky from Tennessee and Nodine’s 10 Clover Garlic from Connecticut.
