Angelenic has been tracking the Bottega Louie opening for over a year. Now the owners of the downtown restaurant and market have set an opening date: April 6. The space that previously housed a Brooks Brothers store will host a market, restaurant and bar with exhibition kitchen.
Last March, Angelenic posted a TENTATIVE MENU. Chef Sam Marvin’s menu has changed in the past year, but Bottega Louie spokesperson Nicole Tilley did create some expectations. For example, you should expect to find a “very flexible menu” with “authentic Neapolitan style pizza” and shareable plates. In the “bottega,” a display case will host over 100 different prepared foods.
Tilley described the space as “European in design. Stunning mill-work and brass applique throughout the entire facility with 17 foot high ceilings give it a very open feeling. The entire space is framed by a beautiful pizza oven in the restaurant.”
