Food GPS Progressive Eating Tour of Beverly Boulevard
Posted July 20, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Last fall, Food GPS brought you progressive dining tours of Santa Monica and Downtown. On the afternoon of Sunday, July 25, we’re continuing the in-depth exploration of L.A.’s best eating neighborhoods as Food GPS spotlights four great restaurants located on (or just off) Beverly Boulevard. Eva, BLD, MILK and The Golden State are our destinations.
Each chef-owner will introduce a plate, treat or drink. I’m looking forward to sharing the chefs’ picks with participants. In the meantime, I’ll just let you know that one dish will be fried, one will come in sandwich form, but won’t involve meat or produce, and one dish will likely arrive in a bowl, but won’t be soup.
Participants will also be able to learn more about the neighborhood’s history and get to know other Los Angeles food lovers. The walking tour begins at Eva at 3 PM and costs $45 per person, including tax and tip. Visit amusela.com to purchase tickets. If you have any questions, please e-mail organizer and tour guide Joshua Lurie at joshua@foodgps.com.

This sounds like a fun, tasty one. Beverly Boulevard is a great strip for foodies to explore.
all great stops w nice eats ~ though I may petition for an extension to Susina Bakery for a 2nd dessert
H.C. and Caroline, thanks for your support. I hope to see you on Beverly Boulevard.
are you going to do another SaMo one soon? hope so!
wish I could go, but already planned my next Urban Hike for that day — a different kind of walk-and-eat experience (this time down the length of Colorado St/Blvd, from Glendale to Arcadia)
H.C., Sorry to hear you already have plans on July 25.
Stuffy Cheaks, Another Santa Monica walking tour might work out. In the meantime, what about signing up for Beverly Boulevard? It would be great to have you there.
Wow this is a great resource.. I’m enjoying it.. good article
bummer, I have plans that day but let me see if I can squeeze two things in one afternoon
Wow! This is a great price. I hope to be able to attend.
Jane, it would be great to have you at the Beverly Boulevard walking tour. Hope to see you sign up.
Angelini Osteria is missing from the list
A., it was impossible to include every restaurant along Beverly Boulevard. Angelini would have been another good choice. Even though it sounds like Angelini is your favorite, I still hope you sign up for the tour. There will still be plenty of great food.
Budget permit, I will be there. Sounds like a ton of fun and I’ve been meaning to try Eva. Thanks for organizing!
Looking forward to it….any hints as to what they might be serving? I know it would spoil the surprise…
Jeffrey, thanks for signing up for my tour. I’m looking forward to sharing the chefs’ picks with you and other participants. I’ll let you know that one dish will be fried, one will come in sandwich form, but won’t involve meat, and one dish will probably arrive in a bowl.
Some of my faves! Will def repost. Keep up the cool events – I’ve enjoyed following Food GPS ever since the amazing beer float competition! =)
Chocomeat, thanks for the support. I hope to see you on Beverly Boulevard on Sunday.
