Eater LA first reported about Fulfilled in May. Now Susumu Tsuchihashi reveals that his long-awaited Japanese pastry shop will open this Thursday, November 6.

Architect Milan Lojdl (Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Crustacean) designed the modern space, which showcases Imagawa-yaki, the filled pancakes known as Ima. Traditionally, Ima are filled with sweet azuki beans. At Fulfilled, they host a range of savory and sweet options. Here’s the menu:

SWEET

Sweet Geisha – Traditional Japanese Azuki Bean
Harajuku Monkey – Banana and Nutella
Nutty Buddha – Ghirardelli Chocolate, Toffee, Crunchy Peanut Butter
Karaoke Kitty – Strawberry, Cream Cheese, Ghirardelli White Chocolate
Honey Yakuza – Goat Cheese, Mission Fig, Honey, Walnut, Cracked Black Pepper

SAVORY

Sumo Italiano – Prosciutto di Parma, Smoked Ham, Aged Parmesan, Fresh Basil
Spicy Samurai – Chicken Apple Sausage, Pepper Jack Cheese, Diced Chili, Fresh Cilantro
Green Ninja – Spinach, Feta Cheese, Sundried Tomato

There are also monthly specials.

Azuki bean Imas cost $1.75 apiece. Other flavors cost $2.75 apiece. If you buy six Imas, you’ll get one free. Buy a dozen and receive two free.
