dineLA Restaurant Week drew 150,000 diners to 175 restaurants in February. Given the massive turnout, the organization is staging an encore Restaurant Week from October 4-9 and October 11-16. This time around, dineLA Restaurant Week features 260 participating restaurants. Clearly you can’t eat at 260 restaurants in two weeks, so here are some of my picks.
Here are some restaurants that are participating in dineLA Restaurant Week that I’ve been to and enjoyed. Click on the restaurant names to find my reviews:

On September 25, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa kicked off dineLA Restaurant Week with an L.A. Live press conference at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. Other participants included Wolfgang Puck (naturally), Josie Restaurant chef-owner Josie Le Balch, Loteria Grill chef-owner Jimmy Shaw and Mark Liberman, the head of L.A. INC. To conclude the press conference, the dignitaries and chefs shared a ceremonial “first bite” of Puck’s pizza. dineLA Director Carrie Kommers was also on hand, along with about 75 chefs, who wouldn’t all fit in frame.

Dude, I love your game plan. I’m planning to go sensible this time around. Probably maxing out at three, but can go as high as five. Last time around, I went to Border Grill (good deal), Wolfgang’s Steakhouse (not so much good deal), the Bazaar (Very good deal last time), and Del Rae (not bad).
I’m searching for that very good deal like Bazaar and maybe I’ll keep that in mind when the walking tour begins on the weekend to do two places for lunch and two for dinner. LOL
Restaurant Week part two! Get the most bang for the buck by taking advantage of lunches if your schedule can swing it. Have a great time:-)
