Eric Greenspan, the Executive Chef of The Foundry on Melrose, is so confident in his restaurant that he’s insured each visit. If a Foundry customer isn’t satisfied with their experience, Greenspan will hand them a gift certificate for the price of the meal (not including alcohol or gratuity). Greenspan’s reasoning: “Things are tough, people want to be cautious with their money yet they still want to go out and enjoy a finely prepared meal. I understand it is difficult to put your hard earned money at risk…I’m so confident that we deliver a great dining experience here that I have no fear of standing behind everything we serve.”
Additionally, The Foundry on Melrose recently launched a new lounge menu, including Greenspan’s award-winning grilled cheese sandwich, chicken breast with goat cheese polenta & spinach salad; and cider-marinated skirt steak with apples, blue cheese & arugula. Nothing on the lounge menu costs over $19.
