Uncouth Gourmands, I only had a chance to try black mild when it was still a home brew. Looking forward to trying the official version.

We tried Eagle Rock Brewery's Solidarity on it's release night. It was great to meet the brewers and the black mild ale had very strong coffee and chocolate overtones. All and all a great start.

Have you tried it yet? Thoughts?

Here was the scene from its first pour at Verdugo http://uncouthgourmands.com/2009/12/10/whats-bubbling-and-brewin-around-verdugo-road/
