Greg Horos and Melissa Rosen have pushed back the opening of Locali, meaning Franklin Villagers will have to wait until the first week of 2009 to experience “conscious convenience.”

New details have emerged about Locali’s food and drinks. Horos and Rosen will feature organic tamales from La Guera Tamalera, vegan “caviar” made from seaweed and microbrews from Skyscraper and The Bruery.

Rosen also wants people to know, “In addition to the local non-profits we’re supporting, we’re also going to be selling beautiful cards from the Earn N’ Learn Program to benefit the children in the slums of Ahmedabad served by Manav Sadhna, an NGO based at Gandhi Ashram.”
