Organic Panificio Shows Its Full Range in Marina del Rey
Posted September 8, 2008 at 5:51 pm
Chuck Colby and John Tennant launched stage one of Organic Panificio in mid-April, occupying the waterfront Marina del Rey space that previously contained Edie’s Diner and Harbor House. Beginning with the Fourth of July’s open-house barbecue, the more upscale restaurant portion opened, featuring CLUB Allura every Friday and Saturday night. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, including organic pasta, pizza and steak salad. The executive chef is Eric Ernest, previously with Royale and BOA. FYI: “Panificio” means bread maker in Italian.
