Quality crepes and espresso beverages. Brewed coffee available as well. This small space (twenty seats or so) is located just off the Capital Square in downtown Madison. The owner has narrowed the focus of the business in a way that feels refreshing and well-considered. All ingredients used in the crepes are purchased locally and acknowledged accordingly with a chalk sign updated frequently. Also in chalk is the quaint menu with rotating crepes (I had both a fresh raspberry/mascarpone and a smoked salmon/goat cheese in my two visits) and coffee beverages (traditional cap, mac, and ‘flat white’ are featured proudly). This place is just getting started; don’t miss it.
