Beginning March 7, 2009, Rush Street launches a weekend “Red Eye Brunch.” Chef Dave Northrup’s menu includes options like the red eye burger with cheddar, smoked applewood bacon, carmelized onion, fried egg and hollandaise sauce; and the “beenadick breakfast sandwich” with hot coppa, fried egg, roasted tomatoes, arugula, red onion and sambal hollandaise.

Some people believe the best cure for a hangover is to keep drinking. With that in mind, you’ll find bottles of Blue Moon and Chimay, several wines by the glass and a “red eye cure all” combining Stella Artois, tomato juice and Tabasco. Rush Street’s 3 Olives Bloody Mary Bar allows you to mix 3 Olives Vodka with ingredients like fresh tomato juice, garlic-, blue-cheese or habanero-stuffed Santa Barbara olives, pickled asparagus and “atomic horseradish.”
