Seasons 52 is a Florida-based restaurant chain that’s ultra-seasonal, and in late 2010, the twelfth branch is replacing The Clubhouse at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. According to the restaurant chain’s website, “Every item on our seasonally inspired menu contains less than 475 calories, and each meal is nutritionally balanced to include the highest quality lean meats and seafood, good carbs and beneficial oils such as extra virgin olive oil. Each week’s menu is created by our team of talented chefs and internationally recognized Corporate Executive Chef, Clifford Pleau, who is also our Director of Culinary Development.”
Entrees range from $11.75 – $26.95. Recent offerings include Wood-Roasted Pork Tenderloin soft corn polenta, leaf spinach, cremini mushrooms and sherry glaze; Caramelized Sea Scallops grilled and served with roasted asparagus and sun-dried tomato pearl pasta; and Grilled Duck Breast Chop Salad jicama, grilled fruit, toasted almonds, hoisin and sesame dressing.
Mini Indulgences – “individual servings of classic desserts” – cost $2.50 apiece and include Old-Fashioned Carrot Cake and Key Lime Pie.
Master Sommelier George Miliotes designed the wine list for Seasons 52, which features 60 wines by the glass.
