Billy Heinzman and partner Katy Noochla-or are working to open Soi 56 in Hollywood by March. Beginning in April, they plan to begin construction on Sen, a 1000-square foot noodle and draft beer concept in Los Feliz. Sen means “noodle” in Thai.

The space currently houses a traffic school. The build-out should take five months, and once completed, you’ll be able to eat a full meal for under $10. Billy Heinzman thought it was important to make Sen “inexpensive for a struggling economy.”

   That’s great news! Although noodle dishes tend to be weaker than other areas at Rambutan, so I hope they kick up the spice and wok hay a bit.

   We need an equivalent to momofuku noodle bar. Maybe this could be a shadow of it.
