Every Friday & Saturday night from 6 PM – 10 PM, Akasha Richmond transforms AKASHA’s bakery into The Lounge at AKASHA, featuring a live DJ, an expanded beer list, 27 wines by the glass and a special bar menu.

If you’re looking for “something to eat,” expect to find Fried Chicken Sliders ($8) with honey mustard and jalapeno cole slaw, Merguez Sausage Pizza ($14) with pickled fennel, goat and Manchego cheeses and blood orange zest and Crispy Calamari ($8) with spicy Romesco and a petite salad of wild arugula. If you have room for “something sweet,” consider six options, highlighted by the Flourless Lemon Almond Olive Oil Torte ($8) with local organic strawberries, lemon curd, strawberry sorbet and whipped cream.

Recent additions to Akasha Richmond’s beer list include Allagash Curieux, a barrel-aged Belgian-style Tripel from Maine; and Super Baladin, an 8% ABV Belgian style amber Ale from Piozzo, Italy.
