On November 6, Falcon introduces “Give & Get Thursday” in response to the sagging economy. Every Thursday from 7 PM – 10 PM, expect a Market Crash Menu with Recession Proof cocktails, plus live jazz by The Falcon 3.
Executive Chef Andrew Tuin will prepare $5 Market Crash Menu items, including PB&J with Kahlua & Milk, Mini Grilled-Cheese Sandwiches with Tomato Gazpacho, and Mac & Cheese.
Mixologists Steve Allen and Mark Sandstrom will make $5 Recession Proof cocktails like “The Stockbroker Blues,” “The Plunge” and “The Gordon Gekko,” plus house-made “Bathtub Gin” for a buck.
To “Give,” Falcon will also collect canned goods for SOVA Community Food and Resource Program, a nonsectarian program of the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles that donates free groceries and support services to over 6000 impoverished Angelenos per month. Falcon co-owners Mike Garret and Tommy Stoilkovich will gladly accept two cans per person in lieu of a cover charge. Stoilkovich said, “Helping our neighbors to sustain and have food to eat in this recession is something that we feel very passionate about.”
