Chef David LeFevre recently launched a new lunch menu at Water Grill, downtown L.A.’s long-revered seafood restaurant. Guests can still linger over multi-course lunches, but now you’ll find plenty of one-dish options. New additions include a New England Lobster Roll ($29) with house-cut French fries, a deconstructed Albacore Tuna “Sandwich” ($24.50) with fresh albacore tuna confit in a jar with aged Gouda, fleur de sel and lemon aioli. You’ll also find sautéed and basted Alaskan Halibut ($29) with lavender, Meyer lemon and Madagascar vanilla bean oil. Every dish is available in the dining room or at the bar.
