Through the end of winter, Whist is hosting “Single Malt Sundays,” a weekly Scotch tasting next to the outdoor fire pits, beginning at 6 PM. Expect Scotch flights, food pairings and rare Scottish releases.
On the last Sunday of every month, Whist hosts a Scotch appreciation class. $20 entitles you to a flight of five Scotches. $30 includes appetizers like seared dayboat scallops with caramelized apple bread pudding, salsify and smoked paprika ver jus. The class concludes with a complimentary “Single-Malt Sundae” from Pastry Chef Brooke Mosley, who incorporates Scotch into her dessert. The classes will include reps from famed Scotch producers like Glenfiddich, Macallan and Glenmorangie.
