From Father’s Day (June 21) through Labor Day weekend (September 6), Andrew Kirschner is once again offering Sunday Night BBQ at Santa Monica’s Wilshire Restaurant. Options include a pulled Kurobuta pork sandwich, baby back ribs and grilled andouille sausage. You can also order a Mixed Grill that feeds 2-3 or 5-6 people. No matter what you select from the BBQ menu, expect a complimentary dish of horseradish spiked cole slaw. Additional sides include baked beans and corn on the cob with roasted garlic butter.

If you have room for dessert, Wilshire Pastry Chef Jen Shen will showcase market-driven ingredients in ice cream sundaes and fruit cobblers, to name just two options.

I love the Father’s day tie in! Great way to launch it. Sounds like some great food too. I’d love to try the pulled Kurobuta pork sandwich.
