Front Page Jamaican Grille Jerk Pork [CLOSED]

Jamaican Food Los Angeles

Why should chicken be the only jerk in the room? Front Page Jamaican Grille also jerks pork.

Why should chicken be the only jerk in the room? At Front Page Jamaican Grille, Saint Thomas native Valdo Carlyle and his L.A. born wife Pamela treat more than poultry to the legendary Jamaican spice rub that typically contains allspice, cayenne, black pepper and more, a version of which graced slices of lean boneless loin and gained intensity with each bite. In the couple’s five-year-old restaurant near LAX (and the giant Randy’s Donut), located in Inglewood’s Airport Plaza, they offered the meat as part of a two-meat plate ($19.50), which came with scintillating sautéed greens and rather ho-hum beans and rice and fried plantains.

Dose of Vitamin P spotlights my favorite pork dish from the previous week.
