Beginning at 2 PM, Lenzo invites Angelenos to “enter a world of Beer Nirvana.” He’s stockpiled prized kegs over the past year, including Karl Strauss 20th Anniversary, North Coast Old Stock ‘06, Port Brewing 3rd Anniversary, Port Brewing Light Weight Lager, Port Brewing Hop Heavy, Alpine Pure Hoppiness, Alpine Nelson IPA, San Diego Brewing Hop Goodness, Ommegang Rouge, Lost Abbey Duck Duck Gooze, The Bruery Sour on the Rye, Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA, Firestone Walker Double Jack Imperial IPA, Firestone Walker Parabola, Firestone Walker Bravo, Avery Brewing’s Maharaja, Stone Pale Ale (Dry-Hopped), Russian River Temptation, Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA, Speakeasy Barrel Aged Porter and Stone Anniversary 12.

“This week, we got a very limited allotment of Stone’s Juxtaposition Black Pilsner Collab with Cambridge & Brewdog (12oz bottles only). Just tried some last night, you’d never know it’s a Pilsner. Really thick with a roasted chestnut flavor reminiscent of their Jolly Pumpkin/Nogne O Christmas collab. YUM!”

The taps are holding steady until the 2009 Belgian Beer Festival (Part 2) starts on August 15. At that point, you’ll find 60 different Belgians on tap, including St. Bernardus Abt 12, Tripel Karmeliet and Avec Le Bons Voeux. Belgian Fest will run until August 30, at least. Commemorative T-shirts and glassware will be available.
